Teamwork has always been essential to me, and I’ve consistently emphasized its importance in every team I’ve been on. Regardless of our differences, we all strive toward the same goal.
The last game of my collegiate career was against one of the top teams in our conference with a very hostile crowd. Throughout the entire game my teammates and I were being badgered, harassed and insulted by their crowd and initially we separated as a team.
At halftime, I rallied my teammates with words of encouragement and facilitated an open discussion about our performance. Despite falling short in the end, our collaborative effort in the second half showed our unity and determination.
